    My items were damaged
I too have been a victim of Relogulf. I chose British Budget Relocations to transport my goods, but when they came to pick up my items it was ReloGulf staff. Apparently they share a warehouse. On the day of the move, they turned up late and until midnight, they had still packed the items. The size of the load was underestimated by nearly half and they were trying to charge me extra and threatening not to take my stuff to the warehouse. After several phone calls they agreed. Three months on and my stuff had not arrived. Finally, it came, but the state of my boxes was shocking. Nearly every item was damaged, missing or broken in some way. I also did not get any compensation for the damaged/missing items though I had an insurance.

I have also been defrauded by BBR. Collected my goods, I paid the invoice, container left Dubai, has arrived at my home port, but BBR have not paid sea freight, my container will not be released until shipping paid and Bill of Lading released. Davis making excuses about delay with other company… yeah right. He is a thief.

    My goods still in Dubai
My belongings were paid for in full and collected by Relogulf on June 4 to be shipped to Toronto, but nine months later, I am still waiting for it. Apparently, it’s being held up at a warehouse in Dubai as Relogulf won’t pay them.

    Another scam company
I hired a Dubai cargo firm to transfer my belongings to Pakistan on January 1, 2013, but even after six months, the cargo company did not deliver my goods. When I asked them for the advance, they refused. Since the amount was ‘just’ Dh1,000 nobody was interested in solving my problem.

    I am living a nightmare
I had a nightmarish experience with ReloGulf. After five years in Dubai, they came to pack up my goods in June last year. It was a part load so I was told it may take 6-8 weeks for the container to be filled with other people’s goods. Perfectly acceptable. It eventually left Dubai in October.
Relogulf used RAK Logistics for the official paperwork, but RAK Logistics were never paid and would not release the paperwork. The container then sat in Southampton port for two months with costs accruing daily. Finally, after getting a lawyer involved who spoke with RAK Logistics and told them holding us responsible for Relogulf’s debt was tantamount to extortion, they finally released the paperwork without charges. They have filed a criminal case against ReloGulf for three bounced cheques. Finally, the shipping line allowed the container to clear customs and found another UK agent to deliver our goods, but I will have to pay at least £800 to get my belongings.

    Do you have more info?
I wonder if you have any additional information for us in the US. In July 2013, we paid Price and Davis in full, for our entire home contents to be shipped ‘door to door’ from Dubai to the US. Our story is no different. Company comes, takes money, sends packers, takes belongings. You leave with two kids, cat and two suitcases for each and almost seven months later still no shipment.

    What a joke
In June 2013, I moved back to the UK after three years of teaching in Dubai and selected ReloGulf to ship my belongings. A man from ReloGulf came to collect my items, all the paperwork was filled in and I was given a receipt. I haven’t seen my belongings since. They should have been delivered to home months ago, but eight months later there is still no sign of the delivery. The consignment included teaching notes, personal memoirs and gifts from students as well as books and clothes, so it was of practical and sentimental importance for me, apart from its monetary value. Initially, they said the shipment hadn’t left because of Ramadan. More recently, I was told my belongings were in the UK awaiting delivery. I have repeatedly asked for the container number, vessel name, bill of lading and UK handler details, but to no avail. Neil Price and Phil (real name Lionel, I believe) Davies are impossible to reach on their mobiles, which either ring endlessly or are switched off.
ReloUk, who claim not to be affiliated to ReloGulf any longer, have told me ReloGulf owes them over £50,000 and yet this criminal outfit continues to operate here. Colleagues still in Dubai have visited ReloGulf’s address and found the place to be a locked warehouse. I have also tried calling ports and handlers in the UK.
I am surprised such criminals are operating without repercussions. “Unerring commitment. Personalised service. Superior quality “ goes the tagline for ReloGulf. What a joke!

After signing a contract and paying ReloGulf Dh24,000, they promised to ship my belongings from Dubai to my house in the US within 6-8 weeks. Since they failed to do this, I decided to go back to Dubai and check on it. I was shocked to know that even after more than two months, my shipment was still sitting in the warehouse. They convinced me not to go to court and give them a week to do the needful. After many calls, they sent me the date of departure of the vessel, even giving me the ship’s name, saying I would receive my container in 4-6 weeks.
About a month later, I received a call from a local company in the US to let me know they were agents working with ReloGuf. They charged me a fee for the port and another one for inspection. A few days later, they told me my shipment would be held in storage because ReloGulf had failed to pay them for their services. They also told me ReloGulf had not sent them the bill of lading. Furthermore, they said ReloGulf should be responsible for the storage fees ($130 a day). I called the company and also emailed them many times. They responded promising all documents and payments would be sent within a few days. Since the shipment was held in storage for more than a month, the US company informed me that my container would be sold in an auction if no payment was made. I decided to pay $8,500 (Dh31,220) and get my goods. Please get me connected with other victims so we can file a case.

Damaged & Lost Goods, Poor Service
I used Relogulf in March 2013 after they were recommended on our company website. My story is similar to all the other complaints. My goods were delivered in May 2013 with half the shipment missing and a lot of the furniture damaged. Relogulf have constantly delayed the insurance process, do not respond and come up with new excuses. Today I received an email from the insurance company, informing me my claim would not be processed as Relogulf had not paid the premium. Six months later and a lot of stress I am left without my living room furniture, sons toys, clothing and damaged furniture.

I am now looking to take legal advice out of principal as they should not be allowed to trade has anyone done this?

    Missing shipping
I left dubai at the end of June 2013 to move home to England. Relogulf took 5 boxes from me, telling me they would arrive 6-8 weeks later. Everything went well, then as soon as the boxes left my apartment and were paid for I have now heard nothing. They will not reply to emails, enquiries for the websites and the phone just rings. I’m not having much luck contacting relouk either.

Any help at all would be gratefully received about what I do next or who I contact to try and reclaim my items.
