Do not use Euro Movers! Our goods were held to ransom as they did not pay the Uk subcontractors. Had no correspondence from them and they ignored all our calls. Our belongings arrived months late.

Hi, I’m relocating from Dubai to Los Angles, I’ve got few quotes from Allied Pickfords, Euro Movers, Move one and Writer. Lowest quote from Euro movers by 9,000 Dhs I’m confused and wondering if they use good packing material? Should I trust them? pls any feedback would be appreciated!

Hi guys, if you are in Dubai and thinking to relocate abroad through Allied Pickfords I advise you not to. Their customer services are the worst that I have seen. I called and a girl with a British accent asnwered and she was full of arrogance. She said they were busy for the entire month and were not ready “to help me at this occasion”. I have never seen such a terrible service, nor a treatment like this from any other company. She was just trying to give me the impression that they were important and had no time to take more business. I would recommend Interem or other more professional companies rather than Allied Pickfords.

BROKEN FURNITURE & AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR!
They broke the base of our chest of draws so badly that now it will not stand up properly, so we will have to get a new one. When I showed the supervisor he said “yes I know its broken but this is not from us this is from the lift, the lift broke it” They were the ones putting it in and out of the lift not us! All the dining chairs cushion fabric is stained from god knows what because they were supposed to wrap every thing. Dinning table and chairs wood is all scratched. I told them I would not pay full price and the supervisor became very aggressive. He told me again “this is not our mistake this is the lift the lift broke your furniture”. I asked him for his managers number and he refused to give it to me and said ” my manger will not care this is your problem”. I went to give him the remaining balance minus deductions for the cost of broken furniture and cleaning dining chair cushions. He refused to take it and said I had to pay the full amount because otherwise the company will deduct from their salaries and they only get 1000 dhs salary, why you care madam when i broke customers fridge they don’t care”. I asked him to wait outside the flat until my husband arrived. He refused and cornered me in the flat bullying me for the money. He said “ok you not give me money I am Muslim I will call the police” at which point he called the police. I gave it at that point and gave him the money to get him out of the house because I did not want the headache of dealing with the police ( who know how this slimy guy would have twisted the story around to the police).

MOVE ONE
We are in the process of using MOVE ONE from Kuwait to Dubai, avoid them.
We had the worst packers who threw most of them items into boxes, damage to lots of items and now the worst support in Dubai from the Head Office to resolve.
The Senior team in Dubai are lack-lustered and do not want to help or resolve the issues, i feel like we are a bad smell and they would like us to go away.
While they presented themselves to us to take care of the House, Car and our pets, we had problems with the car and house from start to finish.
Claims are still outstanding and we are dealing with a company and insurance house who want to settle for the least possible.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Hi. My family moved back last month from Dubai to Toronto. We were very nervous because of all the shippng horror stories you read and hear about.. We ended up choosing ISS Shipping. The sales person who took care of everything from estimation visit to quotation and arranging for packing ( Balraj) was extremely professional and transparent. He warned us it might take a couple of weeks longer since we’re sharing a container and he was right and went with us through the mollion questions and worries we had. The packers were clean, fast and professional. When we followed up with Balraj to know if the ship sailed, he was very helpful. Later there was a delay in shipment arrival day (2 weeks) but they called us and gave us the new estimated date. Our stuff arrived to port a couple of days ago and the number of boxes is correct but i can’t yet tell you yet if anything is broken. In general, it was a very smooth experience and i strongly recommend them.
